Scheduled Maintenance
We are going to migrate our data center in Hong Kong to a new infrastructure.

The new infrastructure is already available, and migration of traffic to the new data center will start on September 23rd.

The Hong Kong data center will be shut down on October 1st, 2020.

During the migration we will publish the IP addresses of the new cloud based data center and gradually change our DNS records so that traffic is routed away from the Hong Kong data center. At the end of the migration phase our data center in Hong Kong will be removed from DNS. You should see no noticeable impact on your service since the service will be seamlessly provided by the other Cyren data centers.

As part of the migration the IP addresses providing Cyren services will change. This change should be transparent to most customers using the data center in Hong Kong as Cyren client will automatically resolve to the new IPs closest to the client. In cases where customers use IP addresses instead of DNS resolving of the ServerAddress, and in cases where there are firewall restrictions for connections between the Cyren engine and the Cyren data centers, the IP addresses should be updated according to the information below.

Scheduled - In order to improve scalability and stability of our data center in Hong Kong we are going to migrate it to a new infrastructure.

The new infrastructure is available already and the old infrastructure will be shut down on September 25th, 2020.

No action is required for Cyren Web Security service customers using automatic configuration through PAC file.

Cyren DNS Security customers and Cyren Web Security customers relying on IP addresses will need to update their configuration as follows.

In order to find the correct IP address, run the "nslookup" command to resolve the closest Cyren data center IP addresses:

nslookup wn1.cpsserv.com
nslookup wn2.cpsserv.com
nslookup wn3.cpsserv.com

The old IP address for the data center in Hong Kong is 103.5.198.220 and should no longer be in use. The new IP address is 52.139.159.45.

The failure to update your configuration on time may result in service disruption.
